Fab EVENT with the Hair Factory Pop-Up Shop!

This weekend I had the pleasure of attending the first-ever Hair Factory Pop-Up Shop right here in NYC at the John Atchinson Salon &Spa. Guests were treated to a bevy of vanilla and red velvet cupcakes, sparkling drinks, a celebrity inspired makeover with famed hair-guru Cynthia Alvarez, custom blending hair demonstrations and much more!

If you're unfamiliar with The Hair Factory, the company sells extensions with collections like New York Remi, Pure Natural Remi, International Style, New York Trends and Hair Factory Studio.  Each collection is available in its own styles, colors, lengths and textures. The company describes its hair as "natural pure Virgin Remy hair with no dyes or chemical processing." 

Celebrities like Keke Palmer, Christina Milian, and Kerry Washington are also fans of the brand.

What I liked most about the event was the demonstrations about the latest techniques in hair extensions such as using clip-ins OR a tape adhesive. 

I haven't worn any type of extensions in about a year or so. But to spice up my look, I'd love to try the New York Remi Curl.

What do you think of this look? It looks like A LOT of hair would be needed for this style, but perhaps if it was cut into a bob it wouldn't appear so heavy.
